Seminole, where cowboy hats are still a dress code.

Located in the heart of Gaines County, Seminole sits at the crossroads of five busy highways- Hwy 62, Hwy 180, Hwy 214, Hwy 385, and Hwy 181.

Seminole and Gaines County are the # 1 cotton, # 1 peanut and # 1 oil producers in the state of Texas.

Seminole is home to such amenities as:
• The Gaines County Golf Course located between Seminole and Seagraves - this 18-hole course is home to many events during the summer months.
• The expansive Gaines County Park is located adjacent to the Gaines County Golf Course and features a ‘party house’, which is a perfect gathering place for family reunions and summer activities. The park is also the site for the annual Fourth of July fireworks.
• The Seminole Museum is located at 700 Hobbs Highway and tells the history of Seminole and Gaines County in pictures, writings, and memorabilia. It is a fascinating experience to take a trip down memory lane and learn the history of Gaines County and the people who helped establish the legacy enjoyed today.
• Seminole offers three (3) motels and three (3) RV Parks for your overnight stay. Seminole Hospitality, Ltd. will begin construction of a new hotel in the spring of 2008.
