The City of Seminole - City Hall - offices are
located at 302 S. Main. City Hall is open Monday thru Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main phone number for City Hall is
432.758.3676. After hour emergencies for water and sewer should be
reported to 432.758.9871.
The City of Seminole is a Home Rule City -
governed by the mayor and a six (6) member City Council.
The City Administrator, Tommy Phillips, is responsible for the
day-to-day operations of the City and oversees a staff of
approximately 55.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are provided by 20 highly-trained,
well-qualified individuals with state-of-the-art equipment.
Rescue and fire suppression/prevention services are conducted with
modern equipment and an all volunteer force.
The City Landfill is located approximately 1 mile north of Seminole
and off of State Highway North 62/385. The landfill handles an
average of 19.24 tons per day.
The City of Seminole provides water for the City. The water source
is water wells located in and around Seminole, the maximum daily
capacity is 5,100,000 GPD and the peak load is 4,300,000 GPD.
Currently the City operates two (2) water storage tanks - storage
capacity: 500,000 gallons overhead and 1,740,000 gallons ground.
The Police Department is staffed with 12 full-time personnel.
