Seminole is “A City on the Rise”! Our community continues to grow, as evidenced by the 2010 U.S. Census. Seminole is the County Seat of Gaines County and is located in west Texas, midway between Odessa and Lubbock.
Our existing primary industries are energy and agriculture.In fact, Gaines County is the number one producer of oil, peanuts and cotton. Our target industries include manufacturing and energy related business.
The Seminole Economic Development Corporation desires to assist you and your business with growing your business here! We have developable land, an available workforce, two major US Highways as well as several Texas Highways,
